Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiology Technologist to join Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) Computed Tomography. Located in beautiful Kelowna BC, KGH is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.

This is a Relief Part Time 0.84 FTE opportunity. This position will work rotating Days, Evenings and Nights with the shift times being 07:00 to 23:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 15:00 to 23:00, 16:00 to 00:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 23:15 to 07:15, 15:30 to 23:20, 14:00 to 22:00, 06:00 to 14:00. This position will end upon the return of the incumbent.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs exams and special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional radiology, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedures, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding exams and procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography to the designated specialty area, and or two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
