Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced Casual Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital’s (KBH) Medical Imaging Department in Trail, BC.
Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and shifts can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

About the job:
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees. Days of work are rotating with shifts 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:30 to 17:30, 15:30 to 23:30. There is on call associated with this position.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.
Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
