Interior Health is seeking an experienced Permanent Part Time (0.80 FTE) Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join Vernon Jubilee Hospital’s (VJH) Medical Imaging Department in Vernon, BC.

About the job
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff traineesThis position is a permanent part time (0.80 FTE) position with Rotating day and evening shifts. This position requires a trained CT and X-Ray Technologist to perform both modalities. Some on call associated with this position.

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.

Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
