Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Full Time Section Head - Nuclear Medicine to join the team at Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH). Located in scenic Penticton BC, PRH is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, this position is responsible for the administration, supervision, planning and budgeting of Nuclear Medicine Services. Acts as the Nuclear Medicine Site Radiation Safety Officer (NM SRSO) for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) license, which includes the associated duties of the NM SRSO as per federal regulatory requirements and the license documentation. Promotes and oversees a culture of radiation safety for staff, patients, visitors and the environment.

Qualfications
• Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program;
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT);
• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Radiation Safety Officer course from a recognized program for use of radioactive materials under CNSC regulations or equivalent level of education;
• Successful completion of a recognized management program such as the Canadian Hospital Departmental Management program, Health Care Management Certificate, etc.; and
• Three (3) years recent related experience including one (1) year of supervisory/management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
