Interior Health is hiring for Occupational Therapists to support the teams in Community Care, as well as F.W. Green Long-term Care Home and possibly ABI or HSCL clients.

About the position:
Join a very dynamic team comprising of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants, as well as a very robust nursing group. Home and Community Care Occupational Therapists provide in-home assessments, consultations, treatment and education to clients and their families. You’ll play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to residents/patients and/or their caregivers.

To maintain job readiness, the Occupational Therapist will be required to work several shifts in a 6-month period, on an ongoing basis. Shifts will be available Mondays through Fridays; 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

Qualfications
• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid Driver’s license.
