Position Summary
Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Payroll Administrator to join their team in!

This position works rotating days Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

Days off: Sun, Sat, STAT

What Will You Work On?
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the payroll function and follows established procedures in the preparation and processing of employee data for payroll production, and the updating of employee data files and benefit accumulation within a computerized system. Responds to inquiries from staff regarding salary, benefits and deductions, payroll related policies and procedures, and makes corrections, adjustments or payments as required. Produces and distributes output such as employee pay statements, pay cheques, and third party and government related correspondence.

• Your Resume outlining three year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).

Qualfications
Education, Training & Experience
• Grade 12,
• Successful completion of a recognized Payroll Course, Plus
• Three year’s recent related experience in a large, computerized payroll environment, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Completion of a Typing Test 45 wpm or greater, dated within the past 48 months and must be issued from a valid institution only. (non-supervised test are not accepted)
