Position Summary
Joining us at East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH) you will play a crucial role in Outpatient Orthopedics and Outpatient Neurological.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients while contributing to a positive and forward-thinking team culture. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes. Days of work are Tuesday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. Rotation includes one weekend out of six and two to three statutory holidays per year.

Qualfications
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
• Valid Driver’s license where required.
