Position Summary
West Kelowna Health Centre has an immediate relief part-time (0.80 FTE) Physiotherapist opening.

This position is to provide coverage until the return of incumbent.

• Work/Life balance Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to clients and/or their caregivers.

Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our Community Health team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

This position is in Home Health and Community Care and primarily covering West Kelowna. Regular days of coverage are Mondays to Fridays 08:30 to 15:00 hours. Occasional weekend coverage, approximately 3+ times per year, at which time coverage would be all Health Unit areas in the Central Okanagan.

• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)].
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
