Position Summary
The Castlegar Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is hiring for Casual Physiotherapists to join the team! Days of work maybe Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00 on a casual as needed basis, therefore hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on staffing needs.

About the position:
As a member of the Castlegar UPCC team, you may be supporting scheduled and walk-in clients. You will work independently and collaboratively providing physiotherapy services to support regular, ongoing health care for people who do not have a primary care provider and urgently needed primary care services for those who cannot see their doctor quickly enough to meet their current health need.
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

About this location
The UPCC care team includes general practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, physiotherapists and medical office assistants. You will provide same-day, urgent primary care services to patients living in Castlegar and surrounding communities, utilizing a team-based care delivery model.
Qualfications
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
• Valid Driver’s license
