Position Summary
Joining us at 100 Mile House Primary Care you’ll play a pivotal role within a coordinated approach to health care delivery ensuring clients receive the right care by the right provider, when and where they need it.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join 100 Mile House Primary Care team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes. This position works 08:00 to 16:00 hours Monday to Friday.

About 100 Mile House Primary Care Network (PCN) | This PCN brings the Central Interior Rural Divisions of Family Practice, Interior Health, and community partners together in providing a clinical network that services the 100 Mile House and surrounding areas. Patient care is enhanced through a team-based approach, where healthcare providers support each other and work to their individual strengths. This collaborative model not only improves the quality of care but also helps link clients to other parts of the healthcare system, including specialized community services offered for vulnerable populations, such as the frail elderly or those with mental health and substance use challenges.

Qualfications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
