Position Summary
Joining us at North Shore Primary Care Centre, located in Kamloops, B.C., you’ll play a pivotal role within a coordinated approach to health care delivery ensuring clients receive the right care by the right provider, when and where they need it. This position works 07:50 to 19:00 hours rotating days of the week.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Orthopedic Physiotherapist to join our North Shore Primary Care team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive, evidence-based assessments of clients’ physical status and functional abilities, identifying their needs, goals, and expectations. You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve functional independence, promote health, and prevent injury or disability. Your expertise in orthopedic physiotherapy will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care and supporting clients in achieving their optimal physical performance. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes.

Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved program of Physical Therapy
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated post graduate education in orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy (minimum Level III (Part A or B an asset), or an equivalent education).
• Minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. With a minimum of one (1) year experience in a direct access facility diagnosing acute/subacute musculoskeletal injuries.
