Salary range for the position is $67,861 to $97,550. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

How will you create an impact:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting Digital Health and other departments with the development, planning, execution, and closure of projects utilizing best practices in project management methodology. This position recommends the necessary structure and methodology required to ensure project success, works to define project requirements, suggests design solutions, assists in acquiring project resources and coordinates the efforts of the project team members, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects according to plan.

In alignment with IH’s Occupational Health & Safety Program, employees shall adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and attend all required training. Employees are responsible to report any identified hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents to your manager or supervisor immediately.

What will you work on:
• Produces clear, concise, and legible documentation including project charters, plans, requirements, proposals, workflow, functional design, status reports, presentations, knowledge articles and affected party communications.

• Coordinates project tasks as required: meets with managers to review current methodologies; identifies resource requirements; identifies project milestones and deliverables; performs feasibility studies and cost/benefits analyses; conducts project planning; maintains project documentation, evaluation criteria, and authorizations.

• Ensures that tasks are completed correctly and on schedule for completion of projects by monitoring task management systems.

• Supports the project management office with preparation of project and procedural documentation and maintains repositories and administration of the project management system.

• Meets with Interior Health clients to assess their needs, and define project requirements, acceptance criteria, project timelines, and key performance indicators.

• Leads the project team through assignment of task to team members, ensuring common understanding of the undertaking and performance management to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

• Responsible for managing, defining, budgeting, and scheduling for Digital Health projects.

• Supervises the project procurement process working with vendors to ensure contract requirements are met for project delivery and service level agreements are in place.
• Acts as an administrator for the project management tool by monitoring the quality assurance standards, creating appropriate project management templates and dashboards, and providing support to end users.

• Creates and assists with documentation, developing standards, policies, and procedures.

• Acts as a resource for project management administration and documentation to Directors, Managers and staff from Digital Health, Clinical Operations, and other departments within Interior Health

• Works with the project team to drive change adoption with employees and staff where the project creates changes in their daily work.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualfications
Education, Training and Experience
• Graduation from a recognized degree in Business, Computer Science, or health related discipline.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, related healthcare experience, including experience in project coordination and evaluation.
• Clinical operations experience is considered an asset.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Demonstrated ability to collate/analyze data and proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and graphing.
• Ability to work both independently and as a strong team player with an aptitude for working in a collaborative environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and quality focused mindset.
