Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our dedicated Recreation Therapy team at Trinity Care Centre in Penticton, BC. If you are passionate about enhancing the well-being of clients through recreation and leisure programs, this may be the opportunity for you!

About the Role:
As a Recreation Therapist, you will assess clients' recreation and leisure needs and develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans to enhance their health, functional status, and quality of life. You will organize and deliver engaging individual and group programs, monitor client progress, and adjust therapeutic goals as needed. Your role will also involve documenting observations, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and working alongside social and recreational agencies to support client programming. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall development and quality assurance of Recreation Therapy services.

Qualfications
• Graduation from a recognized diploma or degree program in Recreational Therapy plus two years recent related experience.
• Eligible for professional membership with the B.C. Therapeutic Recreation Association (BCTRA).
• Current valid BC driver’s license
