Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of others through engaging recreational activities? We are presently seeking a new team member to join our Recreation Therapy Department at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, BC.
About the Role
As a Recreation Therapy Worker, you will play an essential role in enriching the lives of our residents through engaging recreational activities and safe transportation to outings. Your responsibilities will include implementing diverse leisure and recreation therapy programs, facilitating individual and group sessions, and ensuring the well-being and participation of residents in various activities. Additionally, you will accompany residents on outings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and enjoyment while maintaining clear communication with nursing staff and therapists.
Position Details
This relief part-time (0.50 FTE) position working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 09:00 to 14:00. This position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan, paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits.
