Interior Health is seeking a patient focused; team oriented Registered Nurse to join our medical team at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in beautiful Trail, B.C.

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage for this position will be $41.42 to $55.91.

About the Job:
The Registered Nurse:
• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities

This is a RELIEF PART-TIME (0.42 FTE) OPPORTUNITY until August 31, 2025, or the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About this location/unit:
KBRH provides hospital services to residents of the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Area. Services include 24-hour emergency services, intensive care, general surgery, obstetrics, renal, and psychiatry as well as this 30 bed acute medical unit. Trail is situated on the Columbia River in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
