Position Summary
Joining us at 100 Mile House Hospital you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients and their families and provide ongoing respiratory care to individuals (i.e. neonates to elderly) with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including both acute and chronic cardio-respiratory diseases.

Days of work are Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 16:00. This position will support the Williams Lake Community Respiratory Therapist and travel may be required to Williams Lake.

About 100 Mile House Hospital (OMH): OMH is a key healthcare facility located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Secwépemc Nation. It serves as the primary hospital for the surrounding rural communities, providing a range of medical services to residents and those from nearby areas. It serves as both a primary treatment centre and a point of referral for more specialized care that may require patients to be transferred to larger hospitals in nearby cities.

Qualfications
Graduation from a recognized program in Respiratory Therapy and two years’ recent experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, asthma education, respiratory home care, home ventilation, home oxygen, and sleep disordered breathing screening, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Successful completion of the Health Professionals Testing Canada (HPTC) Credentialing Exam. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).

Current valid BC driver’s license.
