Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), located in Kamloops, B.C., has a relief, part-time (0.94 FTE) Respiratory Therapist (RT) opening.

About the job | This position is to provide coverage until April 2026, or the return of incumbent. Days of Work: Tuesdays to Fridays; 07:00 to 16:00 hours. The position’s focus is within RIH’s Pulmonary Function Diagnostics. RIH is a DAP accredited site that offers outpatient Pulmonary Function testing, walk testing, bronchial provocation challenge testing and overnight oximetry testing. There are many opportunities with Interior Health that begin with relief positions and lead to regular employment.
About the worksite | RIH RTs experience a dynamic and expanding environment, including recent upgrades to Emergency and Surgical Services and Community Respiratory Therapy Programs. RIH serves as a clinical site for Thompson Rivers University RT students offering tailored mentorship opportunities that foster growth and skill development. We have a RT Educator that provides a variety of opportunities to grow and solidify respiratory therapy skills. Opportunities for career advancement and specialization in different areas of practice such as becoming a team leader, a member of the H.A.R.T. or a quality improvement leader. Qualfications
• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
• Current valid Driver’s License.
