Position Summary
We are seeking a permanent full-time Registered Social Worker (Masters of Social Work) at the Kelowna General Hospital. This position is assigned to the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00, with weekends and Stat holidays off.

About the position:
The Social Worker provides comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. Working collaboratively with other health care providers and the multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, system navigation and advocacy, education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources while facilitating client self-management. The Social Worker is responsible for providing and developing social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of the identified population.

Qualfications
Master's degree in Social Work from an approved school of Social Work, plus (2) years recent, related clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.
Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
Valid British Columbia driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
