Position Summary
Joining us at East Kootenay Regional Hospital (EKRH) you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care by working closely with clients, caregivers, and other key individuals to create supportive environments that foster optimal communication and swallowing abilities.

Earn $42.27 to $52.81 per hour.

About the job:
Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these people for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care.

Qualfications
- Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
- One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. New grads are also welcome to apply.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
