Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead | Point of Care Testing, to join our Laboratory Services Department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. This role will also provide onsite support to other areas within Interior Health’s regions as required.

About the Job
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization this position performs and is responsible for the overall quality of all testing performed in the Point of Care Testing (POCT) area. This position is responsible and accountable for technical consultation and advisory services to others, monitors existing procedures and equipment and assists in the implementation of new methods as directed. This position coordinates the quality management activities within the POCT area.

This is a Relief Full Time (1.00) opportunity until October 30, 2026, or the return of the incumbent.

Qualfications
• Medical Laboratory Technologist with current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS) and/or CSMLS.
• Minimum three (3) years’ recent, related experience required in all aspects of POCT.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the facility.
