Position Summary
Invermere District Hospital (IDH) is seeking to expand its Medical Imaging team and has an opportunity for a Casual Medical Radiation Technologist (X-Ray Tech)!
The shift types of this position are rotating Days and Evenings with the shift times being 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 11:00 to 19:00, 10:30 to 18:30. In addition, this position includes on call after 11:00-19:00 and weekend 10:30-18:30 shifts.
Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. What Will You Work On?
We provide general x-ray exams to a large seasonal population with both a busy ER and outpatient patient workload. Part of our workload includes long term care clients. We are also responsible for outpatient Cardiac exams which includes ECG’s and Holter Monitors. Clerical duties are included.

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
