The Scientific Lead, Psoriatic Disease Initiatives is responsible for executing the Medical Affairs Plan, establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across dermatology and rheumatology, providing expert scientific support across a broad range of activities as assigned by the Medical Director, including scientific data management, advisory boards, steering committees, pipeline launch support, evidence generation activities, and execution of publication plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with academic and community KOLs, and other key stakeholders to achieve above-brand priorities, collaborate on projects, share balanced scientific data to key customers, in group and one-on-one settings across Canada (subject matter expert)
- Lead the development and/or review/approval of balanced and credible scientific materials, including slide presentations for internal and external use such as advisory boards, and post-congress evidence dissemination
- Drive execution of Evidence Generation initiatives, by contributing to study design, protocol development, and interpretation of results, post-hoc analyses, development of publications
- Support pipeline strategy inclusive of mapping, framework development, innovative engagement planning for future launches, identify key opinion leaders for new disease areas aligned to our pipeline
- Provide strategic scientific support to key stakeholders, including Medical Education, Marketing, Access, Communications and Regulatory Affairs.

Qualifications
Education:
PharmD, PhD, MD, or other professional or advanced degree
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs and/or other relevant work experience including clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work experiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong research and critical-thinking skills
- Problem-solving agility and flexibility
- Proven project management and organization skills
- Knowledge of psoriatic disease therapeutic area would be an asset
