Ethicon, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is recruiting for a Surgical Specialty Representative (SSR) to cover acute care sites in British Columbia. This sales role is based in the lower mainland of British Columbia.

This role presents an opportunity to join an exciting segment of the healthcare industry and one of the world's leading healthcare companies. You will be part of the Ethicon sales team in British Columbia and through relationship building with customers will understand their needs and leverage Ethicon's products and solutions to support them. This role reports to the Regional Business Manager and is a permanent full-time role.
Major Responsibilities
- Provides highly specialized technical expertise in Wound Management, Hemostasis and Energy solutions to customers
- Calls on existing and prospective customers; develops new accounts and grows existing accounts within established geographic territory (full or large part of a region as determined by manager)
- Responsible for in-depth product expertise, use of products and appropriate continuum of care within the categories of support.
- Provides case coverage within an account as aligned with regional manager
- Supports Account Specialists in the region in activities including new product launches, case coverage, clinical based evidence and outcomes-based discussions.
- Provides feedback on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provides ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
- Collaborates on creation of regional plan; owns execution of aligned regional strategy supporting the development of priority accounts and customers in Specialty area.
- Liaison between Marketing and regional strategy deployment; drives pull through of product-level marketing strategy regionally, working with Account Specialists to implement at the account level
- Interacts with sales and marketing management to contribute insights that refine product and marketing initiatives
- Work with members of the regional sales team to over-deliver performance goals and create an exceptionally collaborative, respectful, and fun team environment.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $71,000 to $113,850.
Qualifications
Profile Sought:
Education and experience: A minimum of a University Degree in business, statistics or health sciences is required; related clinical support/nursing and/or sales experience in the medical device field is a strong asset.

The role will sometimes require evening and weekend commitments; some overnight travel required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
