We are looking for a visionary Director of Local Services in Montreal to lead a committed team and provide local services that meet the expectations of our organization. Make a real difference in a mission that combines leadership, strategy and collaboration!

Under the supervision of the Deputy General Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic priorities. As Head of Local Services, you will provide leadership and performance for your unit. Your role will be to design and deploy a service offering tailored to the needs of tenants, while working in a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach focused on the effectiveness of interventions.

To Meet This Challenge, You Have:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in administration, human sciences or related field (project management, an asset).
  • Experience: 8 years in multidisciplinary team management (unionized environment, an asset).
  • Skills: Leadership, mobilization, organization, rigor, ability to manage complex situations and work in partnership.
  • Assets: Knowledge of social housing and Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Excellent leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills.
  • Ability to mobilize and engage employees in a dynamic environment.
  • Rigor, organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment and agility to navigate a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with various stakeholders.

Strategic and Operational Management
  • Leads and supports a team of executives, ensuring their training, support and mobilization (human, financial, material and informational resources).

  • Supervises the management of vacant housing, their restoration, through lease management.
  • Ensures the maintenance of the real estate portfolio, the cleanliness of spaces and the management of residual materials.
  • Supervises the development and implementation of the integrated vermin control plan.
  • Guarantees increased awareness among tenants and employees of sanitation issues and their prevention.
  • Ensures active representation of his department with advisory committees and tenant associations.
  • Coordinates interactions between maintenance and repair teams and tenant representatives.
