Our Supply Chain Advisory practice is seeking a Manager to strengthen our Management Consulting practice in the Vancouver office. We are looking for a versatile professional like you to work on a variety of supply chain advisory projects, deliver meaningful and exceptional client services.


What you will do

As a Manager in our Supply Chain Advisory practice focusing on procurement & supply chain technologies - you will use your strong business acumen and be a key member of a high performing team.

 

In this role you will have responsibility for the following:

 

  • Support clients with the achievement of their technology transformation business cases.
  • Shape and support the delivery of large scale technology transformations for procurement & technology solutions - discovery, business case, conceptual design, implementation, transition to sustainment.
  • Lead workstreams during solution implementation including key activities – solution design, requirements gathering & fit/gap analysis, process mapping solution configuration, testing, training, supplier enablement, go-live preparation.
  • Grow your coaching and feedback skills through providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to your team and support our Open Feedback culture. 
  • Support timely engagement management and ensure on-time, at-budget, high quality delivery of client deliverables.  
  • Provide expertise and knowledge for full spectrum of client-related business activities and projects, while taking accountability for leading client engagements. 
  • Support client pursuits and proposal development with support from Senior Leadership, and work with KPMG leaders to develop thought leadership, white papers and other intellectual assets. 
  • Conduct comparisons of current processes to leading practices to identify client performance gaps and contribute to corporate-wide supply chain diagnostics efforts. 
  • Work across various stakeholder groups up to senior and executive leadership to facilitate all phases of projects from inception to close. 

 


What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with major in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement/Sourcing or an Undergraduate degree in a related field.   
  • Certification with Tier 1 procurement and planning solutions (e.g. Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Blue Yonder, o9, e2open, etc.).
  • Experience working in a professional services or consulting firm. 
  • Experience with sponsor and risk management. 
  • 5+ years’ of experience in Supply Chain Management and 3+ years’ of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Negotiation and/or Contract Management transformation projects.
  • Proven project management success with strong track record on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery of projects.
  • Comfortable using financial analysis to support business case establishment and quantification of opportunities, business performance and service level impact. 

 

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information   

The expected base salary range for this position is $98,000 to $127,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
