What you will do
As a Senior Consultant in our Cybersecurity and Compliance service line, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve and maintain compliance with key cybersecurity standards. This is a customer-facing, consultancy position requiring a mix of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge and advisory skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert consulting services to clients on cyber compliance requirements, helping them to understand and implement necessary controls.
- Validate client cyber compliance project scope.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing cybersecurity postures, identify gaps, and develop remediation plans.
- Assist clients in developing and maintaining cyber compliance activities that meet required standards.
- Prepare clear, concise, and professional documentation and report.
- Leverage a solid grounding in IT networks, network technology and security assets (Firewall, SIEM, etc.) to provide practical, actionable guidance to clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of evolving compliance requirements.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on network technology and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of IT networks, security technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems), and cloud security.
- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity standard and other relevant cyber security standard.
- Ability to lead clients to specific conclusions by providing implementation statements and evidence.
- The ability to challenge yourself and adapt accordingly, if necessary
- An interest in constantly learning new things.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
This roles deals with clients located in Quebec and Ontario. Fluency in English is therefore required to interact with and handle requests from anglophone clients on a daily basis.
Assets:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or other cybersecurity certification(s).
- Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense sectors.
