Machine Operator / Burr Oak

• Starting wage at $19.00/hour

• Entry Level Position

• Day shift

• Markham Area

The Company

Our client is a top leader with many years’ of experience in manufacturing of custom tubing components.

Position Summary

• You will need to ensure proper set-up and changeovers have been maintained for the Burr Oak machine in order to process the size of tubing as required

• You will need to check that quality meets all product expectations according to specific work orders

• Load parts into the Burr Oak machine

• Complete production logs and reports as required

• Monitor by regular and routine inspections

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrates responsibility, initiative and good attitude

• Good communication and mechanical skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot by being aware of deficiencies

• Able to maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors

• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs

Working Environment

• Manufacturing environment

• Hot, noisy environment

• Steel toed safety shoes, and all personal protective equipment
