As a Precision Farming Specialist, you'll be part of a team responsible for providing support, training, promotion and sales support to agricultural customers for all of the company's precision farming solutions, including..: John Deere Precision Farming equipment, Operations Center cloud-based software, RTK GPS leveling and drainage software and other geo-referenced data management software solutions to help customers perform better in their operations while demonstrating the agronomic benefits/impacts of equipment and/or farming practices to Groupe JLD-Laguë customers.



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Support and promote the various Precision Agriculture technologies and solutions offered by the company;
    • Use and optimization of equipment/technologies in conjunction with precision agriculture software/platforms;
    • Agronomic and machine data collection;
    • GPS-RTKt levelling and drainage systems;
    • Geomatic management of various agricultural data;
    • Build agronomic and/or machine reports and present results to customers;
    • Training of internal and external customers on the use of technologies.
  • Support agronomic and data management solutions, coaching and training for our agricultural customers;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various market players to position our solutions as the first choice;
  • Promote all solutions and technologies offered by the company;
  • Develop expertise in order to add value to the data collected by our customers and their partners so that they can draw up recommendations.


IDEALLY, YOU HAVE :

  • College diploma in an Agricultural field or equivalent experience;
  • Dynamism, curiosity and sense of innovation;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomous, well organized and able to manage priorities;
  • Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English;
  • Knowledge of geomatics or GPS technologies an asset;
  • Excellent customer approach and networking skills;
  • Good computer skills, as the candidate will be required to use a variety of specialized software on a daily basis, and to support customers on this software.
