Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, and meeting project specifications
- Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
- Complete smooth, wet and dry finishing using hand, broom and power tools
- Operate a vibrating concrete machine and screed concrete
- Dismantle concrete forms, ramps, and barricades
- Working with and alongside the formwork Carpenters to get the job done
Qualifications:
- Must have a Journeyperson Concrete Finisher/Mason ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Non-ticketed Concrete Finisher/Mason must provide proof of industry related experience
- Apprentice Concrete Finisher/Mason level 3 must be registered with a provincial training authority
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- ESC Confined Space
Work Conditions:
- Project to commence in April 2025
- Work schedule: 5 days on, and 7 days off plus statutory holidays off
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
- This is a local position-candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton area. No camp accommodations or travel allowances provided
