Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate the asphalt plant safely and efficiently
  • Utilize computer skills to manage plant operations effectively
  • Conduct regular equipment maintenance and ensure smooth functionality
  • Monitor operations to maintain consistent production, complete daily checks, and keep accurate plant logs
  • Comply with and uphold Ledcor’s Health & Safety programs

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing or operating an asphalt plant
  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing is mandatory
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract are required
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices in daily work activities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset

Work Conditions:

  • This is a field-based position from May to November 2025
  • Flexibility to work on projects throughout Alberta is required
  • Shift rotations involve 10-14-hour workdays, including nights and overtime
  • A living-out allowance of $135 per day is provided
  • Preference is given to candidates with an RV or trailer, as a camp area with hookups is provided
