You are an experienced Contracts Administrator who will manage all contract documents and databases relevant with clients and subcontractors. Duties may include assisting with contract development, administration, tracking and analysis. You’re a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist Operations team with the proper handling of contracts, support documentation, bid scopes for subcontractors and related files
  • File and stores all contract documents as per the requirements of Ledcor’s processes and procedures
  • Participate in the resolution of client, and subcontractor claims and disputes
  • Ensure all documentation including all standard agreement templates are completed with each subcontractor
  • Maintain subcontract templates and communicate updates or changes to operations staff through document control
  • Maintain log and central filing of potential changes to the prime contract
  • Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files

Qualifications

  • An understanding of the risks inherent within the construction industry and the contracting out process
  • Knowledge of construction risks and how they pertain to construction contracts
  • Knowledge of subcontractor contract resolution processes
  • Experience with negotiating and resolving contractual risks and recommending mitigation practices
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Knowledge of contract terminology, practices and concepts; a familiarity with telecommunications contracts would be an asset
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, and taxation
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong organizational and time management skills
