As the Director, Procurement Systems & Process, you will lead the strategy, development, and implementation of cutting-edge procurement technologies and processes. Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team to ensure effective master data management, technology utilization, and process optimization
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards to maintain high levels of governance
• Direct the creation, maintenance, and management of supplier catalogues within Coupa or similar software platforms
• Lead performance measurement initiatives to assess procurement effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Manage and analyze invoice exceptions to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments
• Evaluate new technology solutions for potential business improvement and share insights with relevant departments
• Direct the implementation and ongoing optimization of procurement technologies, ensuring effective adoption within the organization
• Develop training materials and conduct company-wide sessions to ensure successful adoption of procurement technologies
• Oversee the budget for procurement technology projects, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to maximize value
• Provide comprehensive reporting, exception analysis, and spend analytics to support optimized procurement processes and decision-making

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on procurement technology and process optimization
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g., Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) an asset
• Proven leadership experience in procurement technology enablement or procurement transformation initiatives
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain principles, and change management strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Extensive experience with procurement technology solutions and ERP systems, ensuring effective implementation and optimization
• Proficiency in technology and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to drive decision-making
• Strong problem-solving capabilities using analytical techniques to define, address, and resolve complex challenges
• Experience in business process documentation, including process improvement and redesign initiatives
