Equipment Maintenance Superintendent- Sault Ste. Marie, ONLedcor is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the maintenance of our highway fleet. You will ensure our maintenance staff meet safety, environmental, productivity, and quality standards while supporting team development.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Through their actions and adherence to policy, lead and set expectations for health, safety and environment
- Conduct work and safety inspections to minimize risks and hazards and ensure adherence to company programs and policies
- Manage fleet maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with internal, client, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate maintenance priorities with Operations and supervise Highway Maintenance Technicians
- Ensure maintenance technicians follow best practices, manufacturer guidelines, Ledcor policies, and regulatory and client requirements
- Oversee training, recruitment, and performance management of maintenance technicians
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and internal teams
- Monitor budgets, track monthly spending, and ensure cost-effective maintenance operations
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of equipment maintenance experience, including leadership roles
- Red Seal Mechanic or equivalent certification
- Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, NSC regulations, and legislative and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
Work Conditions
- Based in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, with required travel to satellite locations
- After-hours and weekend phone monitoring required
