Job Summary:

As the Infrastructure Investments Director, you will be responsible in leading and supporting the development and pursuit of opportunities to invest equity or raise financing in support of Ledcor’s core professional services as a design builder.

Your primary responsibilities will include the comprehensive management of all facets of a P3 project finance bid, including legal, financial, insurance, and technical due diligence. This role requires a deep understanding of business negotiations, along with the ability to identify and seize opportunities to showcase Ledcors expertise and demonstrate our track record of success.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue development opportunities requiring equity investment and financing that align with Ledcor’s expertise in world-class project delivery
  • Lead bid working groups during the procurement phase, ensuring the submission of compliant and competitive bids that align with client objectives and project goals
  • Represent Ledcor’s interests in the allocation of project risks and negotiation of contractual arrangements with government sponsors, subcontractors, and financiers
  • Secure competitive, non-recourse project financing for projects, including design-build-finance pursuits, ensuring the optimal financial structure for successful delivery
  • Oversee the portfolio of assets, including board representation, operational and financial management, and optimization of assets, including sale processes when necessary

Qualifications:

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in procurement, development, investment, and project/infrastructure finance. Experience within a project finance or engineering/construction firm is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated experience representing an equity member, public sector entity, or other key participants in the development, procurement, and delivery of infrastructure projects under P3 (Public-Private Partnership) models
  • In-depth understanding of all aspects of P3 project delivery, including equity investment, design, construction, operations, maintenance, rehabilitation, and finance, across multiple sectors and markets
  • Proven ability to assess project opportunities, identify potential risks, and develop alternative risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Significant experience working within North American P3 and alternative project delivery markets, with a track record of involvement at various levels of project development and finance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively across all levels of an organization, particularly in complex teaming structures and high-stakes project environments
  • Expertise in creating and analyzing complex financial models for project feasibility, bid pricing, capital structuring, and long-term financial planning
  • Deep understanding of various project financing structures, including non-recourse financing, debt and equity arrangements, and Public-Private Partnership (P3) models
  • Strong ability to identify, quantify, and manage financial and operational risks, using risk mitigation strategies to optimize project success
  • Experience in negotiating financial terms and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, financial regulations, and project agreements
  • Knowledge of capital markets, investment evaluation, and the ability to secure competitive financing for large-scale projects
