We are seeking Structural Ironworkers with experience to support us in our pipe fabrication and module assembly facility in Nisku Alberta,.

Work Conditions:

• Shift based position working 5 days on with 2 off
• Working 10 hours per day
• Local work only in Nisku- No Camp or LOA
• Project end date: July 2025

Responsibilities:

• Stick build steel erection for structural steel building and structural steel panelization
• Bolt up and impacting
• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
• Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
• Heavy lift, rigging and setting of building modules
• Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson with previous experience in an industrial setting or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial authority (Union cards not accepted)
• Previous experience in a new construction, maintenance, or live plant setting
• Physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs. bend, kneel, crouch and climb stairs on a regular basis
• Must have Energy Safe Canada Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Basic Ironworker tools will be required
