Job Summary:

You are an experienced Turnaround Maintenance Manager, who reporting to the Operations Manager, Maintenance, will in Plant Maintenance, be responsible for supporting the execution of the business plan and contributing to the development of a new line of business within Industrial Maintenance. This role focuses on building relationships and promoting business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities through client engagement, industry-specific networking, and community involvement.

You will also be responsible for overseeing and guiding the project team, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, generating revenue, and helping meet profitability targets.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of a business plan for the In Plant Maintenance group, focusing on short- and long-term goals, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and growth strategies
  • Provide project oversight for large-scale initiatives, ensuring that proper project controls, risk mitigation measures, and all required safety standards are identified, implemented, and communicated. Ensure adherence to these standards throughout project execution
  • Support the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress and success of the business line. Assist in implementing systems for performance tracking and reporting and take action to address any performance issues
  • Support business development efforts for In Plant Maintenance by identifying new opportunities, assisting in cultivating leads, and helping nurture partnerships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and networking skills to build relationships with key stakeholders, explore new markets, and identify emerging trends
  • Share insights with key stakeholders, staying informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and market developments to support decision-making and promote continuous improvement within the team
  • Assist in the creation, development, and adherence to business plans and budgets for the business line
  • Support the management of the business line's budget, monitor financial performance, and contribute to achieving profitability targets

Qualifications

  • 10 years of related construction experience as a Senior leader or in a similar Project managerial role
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects within an Operating group delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting client expectations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and business operations
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively
