Overview:
The Industrial Mechanic / Electromechanical Technician is responsible to perform safe troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a variety of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service machines.
- Works to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
- Complete administrative tasks associated to the role - updating work orders.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mechanical, Electronic and/or maintenance trade educational background OR.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- 2 to 5 years related experience in a general manufacturing environment.
Job Specific Skills:
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and logical ability.
- Experience with low voltage electrical, electronic, and automation.
- Good mechanical sense with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic.
- Experience with manual and CNC equipment.
- Understand technical drawings, electrical schematics, technical machine documentation.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, capable of working independently and within a team.
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
