The role of the reliability engineer is to develop, improve and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs of industrial equipment to improve their life and performance.

  • Know and respect at all times the quality standards and food security, health and safety regulations at work and company policies
  • Organize and plan all activities related to improved equipment reliability
  • Investigate and understand the reasons for failure of equipment with operators, supervisors and persons in charge of maintenance
  • Add and update preventive maintenance procedures of the ERP system in place in accordance with the maintenance department
  • Support the maintenance technicians in their interventions to optimize actions
  • Support the technical team of the factory in continuous improvement projects ( 5S, Kaizen, SMED )
  • Quantify the costs related to downtime of equipment and estimate budgets for improvement or replacement of equipment
  • Document and classify the information related to the plant equipment on the ERP system in place and on paper
  • Support equipment integration of new plant projects
  • Be on the lookout for new technologies related to reliability
  • Integrate the standards of the LEAN approach
  • Actively contribute to the development of good practices in reliability with the plant personnel
