Stavely School located in Stavely, Alberta is seeking to employ the very best school-based staff in Alberta! Stavely School requires a Part Time Early Learning Educational Assistant to work with children and provide support in an inclusive setting. The position may require toileting/diapering. The position involves working with Preschool age children. This position will commence as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will end on June 26, 2025.
Desired qualifications include the following:
Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings
Child Development Assistant/Level 1 or higher certification would be an asset
Educational Assistant certification would be an asset
Ability to build relationships with children and staff
Experience and training in working with children with diverse learning needs
Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team
Able to lift and support students to assist mobility
NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
