Manager, DC Projects & Support

Our Manager, DC Projects & Support is a key colleague in helping ensure the technology in our Distribution Centres (DC) is current, innovative and working as expected. This colleague will use their knowledge along with their relationships with other support teams to drive hardware implementation, optimize technology support in our DCs, and identify and implement improvements to the overall DC technology project and support experience.

What you will do:

  • Meet regularly with external vendor who manages hands and feet support for DC support to review ticket handling and address any room for improvement
  • Manage lifecycle and regular reviews of knowledge articles including introducing new knowledge articles and retiring old articles as required
  • Drive root cause resolution for problem tickets
  • Create and document processes, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Knowledge Articles (KBAs)
  • Discuss, understand and document asks from business stakeholders
  • Lead design and implementation of new hardware projects
  • Identify problems, propose solutions, implement efficiency improvements

What you will need:

  • The ability to independently manage ongoing projects and serve as liaison between the project team and business stakeholders
  • Experiencing managing a multi-level support team
  • The ability to create and maintain relationships and influence without authority
  • To be self-motivated and possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Creative problem solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts
  • Supply chain and warehouse system knowledge
  • Working knowledge of corporate and Distribution Centre hardware
  • Flexible working hours with on call responsibilities during emergencies
