We are looking to fill one full time Meat Cutter position. The ideal candidate would possess 2-3 years experience cutting meat. In this role you will:
Responsible to cut meat in compliance with the store’s cutting standards
Responsible to receive meat and check invoices ensuring quantity is accurate and quality of product meets with store standards
Ensure all meat is stored on trays in an orderly fashion in preparation for wrapping
Must wrap and price meat as required
Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Must follow the store safety procedures at all times
Promote and support superior customer relations in a professional manner, as well as with staff and management
Responsible for scanning out product to control shrink factors
Adhere to company standards and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
Other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
2-3 years experience cutting meat
Extensive knowledge of the Meat Department and ability to cut meat according to store standards
Ability to stand for length of the shift (up to 8 hours), and lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Demonstrated commitment to customer and employee relations
Ability and commitment to work as a member of a team and support the execution of team goals
Ability to promote productivity
