Why is this role important?

Reporting to a Store Setup Manager, you will be will be part of a special team of colleagues who travel to stores, to merchandise and assist teams during renovations and new store openings.

What You'll Do:

  • You will travel to assigned retail locations and different locations within Covering British Columbia, Alberta and Winnipeg on a weekly basis to work alongside construction trades to remodel our stores.
  • Responsibilities includes eliminating out-of-stock and out-of-date product from the shelves, clean and/or adjust the shelves and re-stock the shelves.
  • Efficiently and accurately assembles, set-up, maintains store fixtures, displays and shelves by following Plan-O-Grams (a guide with pictures and information)
  • Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
  • Ensures merchandise of all departments is presentable for customers, including aisles being accessible at all times
  • Assist in other tasks as needed (manual labor, cleaning, general maintenance, stockroom & sales floor maintenance)

What You'll Need:

  • Retail store experience with a solid understanding of the overall store operations would be an asset.
  • Previous experience working with Merchandiser/Stocker is an asset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle as transportation to different stores is required.
  • Computer and software literate, able to learn software quickly
  • Flexibility to work any shift predominantly overnight shifts.
  • Willing and able to work overtime as required
  • Extensive travel required with excellent compensation rates provided.
