Sr. Security Specialist, CKMS, Brampton, ON

In this role, you will work with a team of self-motivated and well-respected team members, working to on managing the lifecycle of crypto agility. As a Sr. Security Specialist, CKMS, you will be required to administer and monitor the health and performance of the CKMS platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the lifecycle of cryptographic keys, include key generation, distribution, rotation, revocation, and storage

• Administer and monitor the health and performance of the CKMS platform, ensuring it is up to date, secure, and aligned with industry best practices

• Support the integration of Venafi certificate management solution to streamline manual process in TLS management and integration with High Assurance (HA) PKI solution

• Support Data Encryption Deployments and Applied Cryptography

• Manage PKI and certificate services in conjunction with Hardware Security Modules (HSM)

• Support projects, lead the development of new encryption applications and services

• Experience with scripting or automation tools for cryptographic processes

What you Bring:

• Strong experience in data encryption, key management, cryptography solutions

• Strong knowledge and experience of encryption solutions and methodologies and cryptography fundamentals, Digital Certificates and PKI standards

• Experience and deeper understanding Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Key Management systems and Data Protection Management

• Understanding on the security protocols and cloud platforms ex: TLS, SSH

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills along with the ability to present complex security subjects to internal work groups and projects.
