Shift timings: 12:00AM to 10:30AM Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
What you'll do:
- Create and maintain new and existing driver files
- Track, monitor and support of driver follow up for ongoing training and re-certifications
- Monitor and audit ELD for accuracy, completion and certification on a daily basis
- HOS violation tracking and follow up
- Preparing all associated documentation required for all audits, including National Safety Code, OHS, Food Safety and Environmental
- Assist with conducting orientation
- Assist in conducting road evaluations
- Aid in the investigation of all accidents/incidents
- Review accident file contents for accuracy and documents needed
- Assure proper accountability is delivered for preventable accidents
- Field and support driver questions and concerns
- Conduct/support job task observations
- Monitor tractor parking area for leaks and hazards
- Check spill kits to ensure they are sealed; record and replace missing items as needed
What you bring:
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Secondary Education in Transportation, Supply Chain and/or Health and Safety preferred.
- 1-2 years of related work experience (Transport/Supply Chain/Warehouse)
- Class 1 license an asset
- Computer literacy.
- Must have the ability to multitask, make decisions and problem solve .
- Ability to travel as required
- Flexibility to adjust schedule where required
