What will you be achieving in this future role?

The US Sales Manager is responsible for managing our reseller network focused on the primary education sector in the United States and leading our team of channel managers to optimally execute Lü’s business model. Their role is essential to allow the team to contribute to the company’s various business objectives effectively, while ensuring quality of service and performance that exceeds expectations.

  • Implement and coordinate the commercial strategy associated with our partners and the team in the United States;
  • Establish the objectives of each team member, provide guidance to achieve them and evaluate their performance using key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Optimize the working methods, planning and negotiation processes of our sales team with regard to our resellers;
  • Support the daily management of resellers, namely by implementing the partner program;
  • Manage, train, support and strengthen the skills of the field sales team members;
  • Actively participate in the partner program and targeted market development initiatives;
  • Report sales performance monitoring in the US market to the management team using precise indicators;

Requested skills

What does it take to succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales strategy, marketing or international business management.
  • A business school (such as HEC, ESSEC, ESCP) or specific training in sales management or representation (asset).
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, business development or any other related field.
  • Understanding of the K-12 education system and its purchasing processes.
  • Significant experience in managing a sales team, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Mastery of performance management tools (CRM, Dashboard, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills, with a focus on results.
  • Excellent English skills.
