GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk will be reporting directly to the Production Manager and assisting with priorities and urgent jobs.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday (day shift) but may be subject to change depending on operational and business needs, potentially requiring employees to work weekends and holidays as well.

You may need to work different hours in the beginning for training purposes.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently tag and manage old and delayed job requests
  • Expedite processing of urgent job requests
  • Prioritize and accelerate jobs needing immediate attention
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emails
  • Back up driver for deliveries
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Job experience will be considered in place of High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English (ability to read, write and speak fluently)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Computer proficiency, including the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously (may be required for data entry section)
  • The ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment Depth perception, use of fine motor skills and manual dexterity
  • The ability to handle multiple requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • The ability to follow directions
  • A track record demonstrating responsibility and reliability
  • Will be organized and will have manual dexterity
  • An accountable and self-motivated work ethic
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Autonomous
  • Team player
  • Must be able to walk/stand for full duration of the shift
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Be able to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities
  • Must be able to regularly lift 10 pounds.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
