GENERAL FUNCTION
The Project Manager - Supply Chain will actively participate in the improvement of the business processes for the Supply Chain business line. This role will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of projects and programs. The person will work jointly with other departments to implement actions to identify opportunities for improvement, support and structure the implementation of changes and ensure effective management of timelines through your project management expertise.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as project manager for a variety of mandates involving several activities in the company's supply chain sector
• Management of projects related to demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution operations management: process definition, data validation, unit and integrated testing, transition, user training, change management, risk assessment and management, implementation, and support to the supply chain manager, supply and IT analysts
• Business intelligence and continuous improvement project management: definition of data sources, definition of key fields, links between key field definitions, data validation, definition of reports and key performance indicators, and end-user training
• Carry out needs analysis, coordinate implementation of actions and follow-up after implementation
• Develop and monitor the schedule, budget, quality management plan, human resources, communication plan, risk management plan
• Establish and publish key performance indicators
• Development of tools and methodologies for best management practices
• Manage continuous improvement projects for operational processes to promote the application of best practices and increase operational efficiency
• Participate in the improvement of business processes to maximize performance in terms of productivity, efficiency, process simplification, quality and cost reduction, and thus improve overall performance
• Carry out data collection and analysis to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement or cost reduction
• Within the framework of projects, participate in the continuous improvement of productivity levels, reduction of scrap rates, production lead times, process simplification and annual production costs
• Promote project management and continuous improvement tools to other departments
• Provide support and structure to other departments in their project management and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure that Essilor's Health, Safety and Environment policies are reinforced and become an integral part of the business process improvement process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree (Bachelor's) in engineering or other relevant field
• Master's degree in project management or PMP project management certification (an asset)
• 5-8 years' professional experience in project management or continuous improvement with demonstrated success
• Experience in optics (an asset)
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies; (development and follow-up of baseline content, schedule, budget, resources, communication, procurement, risk and quality management)
• Strong knowledge of methodologies and use of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, problem solving)
• Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems and ORACLE databases
• Strong writing and IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS project)
• Communication and group facilitation skills

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
