Nurse Educator - Ambulatory and Cardiac Clinic

The Nurse Educator is responsible, in collaboration with Program Leadership for assessment, implementation, planning, evaluation and supportive application of existing and new clinical knowledge and the translation of knowledge to practice.

What must you have?

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN or RN (EC), in good
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing is
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life
  • Coronary Care 1 and Coronary Care 2 certifications.
  • Minimum five years of relevant and recent inpatient and outpatient cardiac experience is
  • Recent clinical experience in a Cath Lab or equivalent setting an asset.
  • Electrophysiology experience an asset.

Preferably, your profile also includes:
  • Certification from the Canadian Nurses Association, Cardiovascular Speciality.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, or another organization
  • Relevant and recent experience as a clinical nurse educator in an acute medicine and critical care setting,
