Registered Technologist - Mammography

Permanent Part Time position

As part of the inter-professional team the Registered Technologist plays an essential role in providing quality and patient/family centered care. The Registered Technologist is responsible to work within a team environment to produce high quality images utilizing mammography digital equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. The Registered Technologist will carry out technical flow of work; actively participate in the daily departmental quality assurance program. The Registered Technologist will also work with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and other departments in the hospital to provide complete patient care and will optimize the processes and quality of images provided.

What must you have?
• Diploma (Degree) in Radiography from an accredited institution.
• Must be a registered member in good standing of College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).

Preferably your profile also includes:
• Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT preferred.
• Minimum 2 years mammography experience in a hospital setting preferred.

• Certificate in Breast Imaging (CBI) preferred.
• Quality Control experience, an asset.

*You may be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health
*Primary assignment in Mammography. May be assigned to all areas of the Medical Imaging department at Mackenzie Health including all offsite locations.
