Group Summary
Cosma provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to global customers. Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring and maintain the quality & integrity of the standard cost environment, inventory and tooling accounts of the division.
- Monitoring and tracking of customer tooling workorder budgets.
- Invoice completed tooling projects; follow up on collections, close out tooling inventory accounts.
- Prepare audit schedules related to customer tooling where required & assist with inquiries.
- Maintenance of standard manufacturing costs, review of Bill of Material accuracy, performs cost rolls.
- Co-ordinate with purchasing/business development to ensure cost data is accurate.
- Responsible for the inventory accounting cycle, reporting and variance analysis (includes MRO).
- Responsible for the completion of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations of all inventory and tooling accounts and analysis as assigned.
- Completion of various reports, internal and government.
- Providing financial support to the business units; supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes

- Organized, poised and relaxed, able to meet prescribed deadlines, sometimes under pressure.
- Able to analyze data, recognize areas of concern, investigates and provides recommendations to Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
- University degree in accounting or related field
- CMA/CPA designation (or near completion) is preferred.
- Four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High proficiency Excel skills.
- CMS experience is a plus.
